Planning to install a tankless unit in my 2 BR, 1 bathroom, washing machine house which will have two occupants. Presently, there's an electric hot water tank that's operating just fine, but too small to afford two people with enough hot water. Should I consider the RA28 or RA18? I plan to make tankless a whole house system at some point. Would I be better off going for the RA28 now and eleminating the tank style all at once? It's about 3-4 years old.
