flow rate (how many gallons per minute the unit can supply vs the gallons per minute of the faucet it is supplying ,and the incoming water temperature in your area vs the expected rate of rise of the unit (degrees it can increase the temperature of the incomong water vs the flow rate) is the information you need search the internet for the the expected incoming water temp in your area most likely the issue is that the flow rate is too high vs the incoming temperature of the water , when the water is not being heated correctly , i dont see much information of that type about these particular heaters. on this sight sinc ethey are primarily trying to sell them , they should in good faith provide a lot more information than they currently do .

I agree with Steve Mcdonald, I am trying to be pro active in the design stage of building a home. The home i will build will be between 4-6,000 sq ft. with 4-5 bedroom and 5 full baths and 2 half baths. I am not sure how to size these things, should i put one one each floor? The basement has 2 baths a kitchenet, the first floor has 2 baths plus a kitchen, the second floor has 3 full bath and 1 half bath. I wish they would spice up this site to help someone like me size and spec the right product for my application.
